Details for the Fun Fly from Blake...

Cost: $10 - Offsets cost of food and supplies

Aircraft: Must be electric. Must use the same aircraft for all events, unless it is damaged beyond
repair during an event, in which case a "waiver" will be granted. Each pilot performs all events
with the exception of the Egg Drop, for which the individual teams decide which pilot will fly and
which one will catch the egg. A few events have "Multipliers" which could get you some serious
points but involve some extra risk of losing points.

Teams: 2 member team
The team with the most points at the end wins. The winning team gets their entry fee back and
bragging rights!

Event 1: Limbo (Max 25 Points)- Pilots Choice of 4 or 3 feet height. Pilots make 4 passes. The
score is added at each pass.  Aircraft cannot touch the ground or the limbo bar/streamer
Scoring:
4 ft pass: 4 points
3 ft. pass: 6.25 points
Inverted: Double

Event 2: Fastest pattern (Max 25 Points) - Pilot starts midfield and flies a pattern as fast as they
can. Pilots must go south and east of the SE runway pylon and East and North of the NE
runway pylon. Time starts when power is advanced for take-off and stops when the aircraft
comes to a complete stop. Pilot completes 3 attempts. The best time out of the 3 is scored. The
times for each team member are averaged to create the "Team Time."
Scoring:
Fastest team: 25 points
2nd: 24 points
3rd: 23 points
4th: 22 points
...etc.

Event 3: Egg Drop (Max 25 Points) - A cup is attached to the airplane with an egg placed in the
cup. The plane is flown over the field and then the airplane "releases the bomb" and the 2nd
teammate attempts to catch the egg in the bucket.
Scoring:
25 points for catching the egg

Event 4: Bean Carry (Max 25) - A cup will be attached to the pilot's plane. Beans will be put into
the cup - 10 white ones and 1 black one. The pilot will take off, make one complete lap, and
then land. The object is to keep as many beans in the cup as possible. Beans still in the cup at
shutdown are then added up.
Scoring:
White beans are worth 1 pt each
The black bean is worth 15 pts.
If a loop is performed, the score will be doubled!
If a roll is performed, the score is tripled!
