The 2008 Indianapolis RC South Club T-shirts will be available for sale at the August Meeting. These shirts will feature a new design, and color. The cost will be $15 per shirt, with the proceeds from each sale going to the ADA. We will have limited quantites in sizes L to 4XL.
So make sure to get your shirt while supplies last!

There has been some progress for field related improvements during the past few days. Working through our landlord Jon Taylor, we were finally able to get a representative from the city of Greenwood to look at our road. Jon sold them 8 acres, with the agreement they maintain an access road to his property. As of today, the city has taken action and new gravel has been applied to the areas of need. Hopefully this will eliminate our problem of standing water around the lift station after a rain, at least for the near future. The good thing is the road issue in question was fixed at no cost to the club.
The second area of potential improvement in the works concerns the rail road ties in our field parking lot. Through the efforts of Ivan Bennington, replacement used ties have been obtained and delivered to the field, again at no cost to the club. We will need to coordinate a work party to take out our decayed existing ties, and replace them with those recently delivered. This will be coordinated over the next couple of weeks. Volunteers will be needed. Again, kudos to Ivan for obtaining the ties.
