Annual Young Ambassador of Flight Scholarship Program

1st RC Flight School is thrilled to announce that thanks to the generous donation of a flight school alumnus, we are able to offer training scholarships to four aspiring young aviators.

Scholarships include 3 days of professional RC flight training, a full 1 year AMA membership, training manuals, a ready-to-fly AeroScout trainer and RealFlight Simulator to take home.

Applicants between the ages of 11 to 17 are asked to submit letters expressing what makes them an ideal candidate for the scholarship. For example:

• How you might use your flight school experience to fuel a potential aviation career?
• How, by your example, you could help other club members become better safer pilots?
• How you might empower other youth to discover the excitement of model aviation?
• How often do you volunteer within your RC club and community?

Date: July 12-14, 2021. Applicants will be chosen late March.
Travel expenses, lodging, meals, etc., not included.
Shaded observation areas provided for accompanying adult(s).
