Our February club meeting is this Monday, Jan. 11th at the church, 7:30 pm.  We will be continuing our discussion in regards to club income/expenses.  If you recall, I sent out a detailed message last week to all of you.  I hope you have taken the time to read the attachments and will be attending and giving your thoughts.  The decisions made will affect all for the coming year and beyond.  Due to our annual Swap Meet after the meeting, we will try to keep discussions from being lengthy.

The raffle item is the just released E-flite Timber X.  This is more of a 3D aerobatic plane as it has clipped wings and larger control surfaces.

Due to the recent rains, the June club meeting will be at the church.
The board was concerned it would be too muddy, and didn't want to risk damage to the road/field.

See you at 7:30 at the church!

This Monday (July 8th) is our monthly club meeting.  It will be at the field, 7 pm.  Come early and fly and stay afterward and fly some more.

On the agenda:

Setting a time and day to do some roofing and have a work party to clear over growth along driveway plus any other work that needs to be done.  Many volunteers are needed.

ADA discussion.  It is time to begin preparing.  The event is scheduled for Saturday September 14th.

Worthsville Road construction discussion as this could greatly affect our ADA event.

Right now the weather looks good for Monday so I hope to see all of at the field.  In the event weather were to become an issue I will let you know by email and Facebook.

The monthly club meeting is this Monday, 8/12, 7 pm at the field.  Our ADA event is fast approaching.  Please consider being a volunteer and working the event which is Sept. 14th.  Bob Badger can answer any questions you have.  We also will be planning a paint party prior to the event, a day will be scheduled to paint structures at the field.  Thank you, again, to all who recently helped with the roofing and driveway clearing.  It was a hot and muggy day.

AMA dues renewal:  please be checking as many of us will need to be renewing by the end of the year, including myself.

The raffle item this month is an E-flite Cirrus SR22 BNF.

The Cirrus SR22 is a single-engine four- or five-seat composite aircraft built from 2001 by Cirrus Aircraft of Duluth, Minnesota. It is a development of the Cirrus SR20, with a larger wing, higher fuel capacity, and a more powerful, 310-horsepower engine and a cruise speed of 221 mph.

Be sure to bring some planes as dry weather is expected.  Fly before and after the meeting.

With the American Diabetes Association Airshow and Fly-In fast approaching we will be concentrating on such event at this Monday's club meeting.  More volunteers and pilots are needed so if you have not yet committed to helping, this will be the time to do it.   Meeting begins at 7 pm.  There is great weather expected so come out early and fly or plan on flying after the meeting.

Worthsville road construction:  We can now gain access from I-65 using the newly paved section.  You will have to navigate between barricades where the road ends.

This month's raffle item is the very popular Timber X.  Those members who own one are loving there's.  Reminder, money made goes into our club funds.  Once again, a big thank you to Indy RC and Hobbies for the generous discount given on all the products our club has purchased from them.

See you at the field.

The monthly club meeting is Monday, 10/14, at the church, 7:30.

Nomination of club officers is on the agenda, also, the ADA results will be presented. We would also like to update photos of our members so please bring a smile for the camera.  We would like to get your picture immediately after the meeting.   Show and Tell anyone? If you have something please bring.

Raffle item is an FMS Kingfisher.  It is a high wing taildragger similar to the Timber.  It includes floats and snow skis.

One last note:  one of our members, Bill Lincoln, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has already began treatment.  Expenses are mounting up and we will be "passing the hat", at the meeting, accepting donations.

Our club meeting, scheduled for 11/11, has been rescheduled for next Monday the 18th at the church due the weather.
The extended forecast is much more favorable than tonight.  It is better to be safe and stay home.
Looking forward to next Monday.
