Indy RC South will be hosting the 2012 Citywide Fun Fly
Event will be held on Saturday, August 18th, starting at 10am

Standard Citywide events will be flown:
- Bomb Drop
- Limbo
- Cup/Stick Break
- Spot Landing

Attention Indy Area Clubs...

The Indianapolis R/C South Club will be hosting this year's annual City-Wide Fun Fly event on August 18, 2012.  As many of you know, this event was started over 30 years ago as a means of getting area clubs together for fellowship and fun.

Interest and participation in the City-Wide event has waned in recent years.  It would be a shame for this event disappear.  Please bring this event to the attention of your membership.  The City-Wide as usual, will involve a bomb drop, limbo, stick break, and spot landing. There is time in the months ahead for internal club practice events, which can develop enthusiasm and preparedness.

We look forward to hosting the event in August, and visiting with fliers from the Indianapolis Area Modeling Community.  With your participation we can make it a fun event.

Chuck,

I'm sure you have heard by now that the City Wide meet was a great success.  East Side had about 8 flyers and Plainfield had 6.  We had only 5 but we prevailed despite having just the minimum.

Needless to say the weather was perfect and all had a good time.  Eric was on hand and cooked up the dogs  for the free provided lunch.  It seemed to be really appreciated..  The East Side club quickly volunteered to host next year.

Maybe we have a bit of FunFly revival going on.
