Indy RC South, 1st Graders field visit, Thu 9/19 @ 10am, Greenwood, IN

Carolyn Flanagan's 1st graders from the St. Richards Episcopal Elementary School will make their annual visit to our field this Thursday, 9/19 at 10:15 am. 

We need club members to help with this event.

The kids will arrive at 10:15 am at our club field with a departure time about 12:30.  The kids will be about 7 years old and the school will provide chaperons for the 30 students. They would like us to have demo airplanes and show planes with plenty of folks to talk to the kids and answer questions.

Quadcopters on loan from Mickey's Camp will be available so the kids can have a flying experience.  Your help will be appreciated.  We will need volunteers to instruct in the piloting of these easy to fly r/c aircraft.

The forecast for Thursday is calling for dry weather and calm skies.  I hope you can make it out.  It is a lot of fun.
