Event open to anyone with current AMA
Spectators can watch for free

The event will run from 2-4 pm.
Concessions will be available - Snacks & Drinks

Directions:
Worthsville Road is temporarily closed West of our field. For both North/South traffic, you will need to take I-65 to exit 99 (Main Street Greenwood) and head East about 1.8 miles. Turn Right onto Griffith Road (by the old white farmhouse) and proceed South (through the Road Closed barricade) until it turns right and becomes Worthsville Road. You will see the entrance to our field on the right (red/yellow gate).

Event Format:
There will be a 50/50 drawing instead of the usual ticket format with a landing fee of $10.00 in hopes of raising a little money for the club.  There will be snacks & drinks available for a small price.

Entry fee will grant you 10 tickets.  You will also receive a ticket for each flight you make.  At the end of the event, one lucky winner will end up with 1/2 of the total entry fee.  As an incentive to participate in the Fun Fly portion, two tickets will be earned each time you fly.

The Fun Fly activities are new for 2019: (you will have a choice as to which you would like to do,  do anyone or do all of them and earn two tickets for each maneuver.

Spot Touch-N-Go's – three attempts with points scored for each attempt.  There will be three lines spaced 10 feet apart, points are scored when you touch near or on a line, if it's close it will count..  50 points for the middle line and 25 points for the two outer lines.  If it is not close to a line you will receive 5 points.  Close will be within 6 inches of either side of a line.  This margin of error should be favorable to the less experienced pilot.

Bean Carry - A cup is attached to the plane and is filled with 15 beans.  Most beans remaining after landing is the winner.  In case of a tie, you go back up and do a loop before landing.

FAST AND SLOW (David Duff suggested)
Plane flies a straight course twice, timed.  First pass is for all out speed. Second pass is flown slowly as possible, maintaining reasonable altitude and course. Largest
difference in the two times wins.  There will be two poles spaced a specified distance with them being the starting and ending points.

The Fun Fly is designed as a way to bring RC pilots together to enjoy flying model airplanes, as well as to share a fun and relaxing weekend together at the airfield.

Hope to see you there!
