All..
Thank you for the kind words, cards, thoughts and prayers. My family and I laid Pops ashes to rest on Monday 1/9/12. What a sad day! The world lost a pretty good modeler. I know I will miss him greatly.
My family and I have decided to sell many of the model airplane items. Our goal is to help offset the cost of Pops headstone. I know Pops would love sharing all his stuff.. Just knowing it was not going to waste would make him happy. So please come and share some laughs look through some junk and have a good time.. Pops would have wanted it that way.
As for me.. I already have Pops planes and they will be enough for me for quite some time. My guess I will never have to build again.. HAHA (remember he who dies with the most airplane stuff wins... so right now I think Pops is in the lead)
The items that I can think of right now are Three Bud Nosen mustangs.. one is finished and signed by the real pilot. from ww2. The second is framed and unfinished and a third is still in the box. Also there are few smaller semi-finished airplanes, Rossi 60 size 2-stroke motors.. some old McCoy red head control line engines. lots of plans, parts, some wood, older radios and much, much more.
I plan to have the sale Saturday 1/21/12 from 10am 'til? (Indy time)
the address is 604 N. Lincoln St. Edinburgh Indiana 47670 (out in the shop... most of you know where that is)
If you have any questions about anything dad might have had you think you would like.. Let me know and I see if it's still around.
Thanks again
