Indoor flying (small electrics only) for the Indy RC South club will be held on the following dates: Sunday, 11/1 Sunday, 11/15 Sunday, 12/13 Sunday, 12/20 As in the recent past, the flying site is the St. Benedict Center at 1402 Southern Avenue Beech Grove. This is north of St Francis Hospital off of North 17th Avenue. Flying will be from 4-7 pm, with a cost of $10 per flyer. Future dates and times will be subject to interest and attendance. 1/10/2010

2/7/2010
2/21/2010
3/7/2010
3/21/2010
These are all on Sunday, from 4pm - 7pm.

*** Attention Indy Area Indoor Flyers!!! ***
Attendance has been a bit low at our first few indoor flys, so it was decided at our club meeting this evening that we should open these sessions up to non-Indy RC South members.

We had a tremendous turnout at yesterday's Beech Grove indoor.
Perhaps the cold weather helped attendance?
Given the number of helicopters that are showing up, should we consider some heli only time slots?
I think there were about 8 of us flying helis last night.

Separate heli time is probably not a bad idea since I almost food processed my foamy with the blades of a heli...
It was a packed house for once and I did get to try new receiver and servos and checkout a couple different props... but I also broke 4 landing gears, chipped a prop, and stopped someones dart prop first with my face... so I guess I have had more relaxing evenings flying before...

Matt Hanley informed me today that the flying time for the 2/7 session only has been changed to 3pm-6pm.
