Hey guys,

As most of you know, I design and build a lot of 'Disposable' planes. I'm constantly tearing down old airframes that I'm done with. Most are fine flyers, but just not what I'm interested in at the time. I'd much rather place them in a nice home Smiley

As most of you know as well, I only do electric. So, if you are curious about electrics, I can maybe help 'set the hook' with a pretty cheap way to get going.

When I sell an airplane (like the one's I have in the For Sale section right now), it is strictly based on the cost of the equipment in it. The airframe is free. My alternative to recovering the equipment cost is to tear down the plane (sometimes it means trashing it). I just hate to trash a good plane, just because I don't want it anymore, knowing someone would enjoy it.

Gene,

For some reason while I was reading your post the image of the "Island for misfit toys" popped into my head.
Can't explain why, it just happened.  Smiley

I feel the same way about planes I've either outgrown or just don't fly any more.  Most of the time they are good flyers, but something newer and "better" always seems to come along.  Same story...  I try to get something back out of the equipment, but the airframe is kind of along for the "free" ride.

Perhaps I need to look at your ads again...   Smiley
