Indoor flying was a great time. First time for me indoors. Met a few of the nice folks. Still learning to fly within the confines of the walls and ceilings. Finished off the night with some IFO combat with my buddy Jim.

If you're wanting to fly combat indoors, you really need to get a Bug!

I used to fly IFOs and my buddy Bill flew a Bug.  He kept flying, and I kept fixing.

Had a great time last week.  Plenty of space and even had a whole court to myself at one point in the evening.  I do not recall loosing any foam!

Here is some video of Chuck's Autogyro in action at the Fishers Fieldhouse that I posted in the Gallery, or download the
AutoGyro video from our website.  I also took some pictures, but unfortunately, my little camera did not do well with the action shots...

I probably will not make it on the 15th, I unfortunately have another function I need to attend :-(

Guys, we are officially ON for this Saturday night (March 15th) at the Fieldhouse!  We're definitely having a lot of fun, and we will continue to have the event as long as you guys support it.  The tentative date for the next event is in two weeks on March 29th.

Here's an updated flyer:  http://www.indyrcmodelers.com/forms/indoorflyer.pdf .

Recent email from Steve...
-------------------------

Hey Guys,

My apologies for the screw up. You know what they say about the word assume, and I used it to its max. So I apologize to all of you who drove to Fishers. I know there was an individual who came down from Fort Wayne. If some one could contact him or send me his email, I would be grateful.

OK, the next session. Next Saturday is part of Easter weekend and there is all day flying in Anderson. The following weekend, April 3 & 4 is the Toledo show. The next Saturday we could fly is April 12. I will schedule this date with the Fieldhouse and follow up on it as we get closer to the 12th.

More news from Steve...
------------------------

I would very much like to keep the indoor flying going as long as we can or want, but here is the bottom line. Tim and I have covered the money to rent the facility.

I really thought getting 20 guys to fly would be a piece of cake, but apparently I was wrong. It cost $200 to rent the Fieldhouse. To keep going we are going to have to get flyers or start sharing the cost. Tim and I can't keep covering the difference.

So we can continue by dividing the cost up among all who show up, get more flyers or not do it.

Give me feed back, please. I think we have a good deal and hope you do as well.

I'm in for as many as I can attend. I'll pay 2 spots if that's what it takes.

So, how was the flying last night?
Anything noteworthy happen?

Were there enough flyers there to cover the rental?

Unfortunately, I was unable able to make this one.

Flying was good for me, sorry for all that felt the need to duck. Tim said the number was close and will continue. There were quite a few heli's.
