Tim Mills informed me that they plan to have Indoor Flys on Saturday evenings at the Fisher's Fieldhouse, 11825 Technology Dr., Fishers, IN 46038. (Located near 116th St and I-69) Flying will run from 9pm 'til Midnight. Entry fee is $10.00 NO alcoholic beverages! The indoor flyin at the Fishers Fieldhouse for February 2 has been cancelled.
The next fly in is scheduled for February 9.

Latest news from Steve Percifield: --------------------------------- Hey Guys, This Saturday Feb 23, there is an all day indoor fly in at the Anderson Airport, so will not have a fly in at the Fieldhouse. Hey guys, we are definitely on for this coming Saturday, March 1st at the Fisher's Fieldhouse from 9pm until midnight. An event flyer with detailed directions can be found here: : www.indyrcmodelers.com/forms/flyer.pdf We’ve had a couple of events so far, and everyone has had a bunch of fun. This facility has 8 basketball courts. The North end and South end each have two courts laid out end to end, for a long indoor flying area. The East and West end have a single court with ends that can overlap onto the other courts. An advantage is that with several courts or “flying fields”, helicopters can fly with helicopters, pattern guys can fly with pattern guys, combat bugs can fly with each other, etc. Photos and a video clip of the action can be found at: www.indyrcmodelers.com/photo/indoorCome on and check us out!! |
