Greetings,
Do you know of anyone near Chino, CA willing to visit the Planes of Fame museum and take some pictures of the cockpit of the F4U-1A Corsair they have? I'll pay admission and a reasonable amount for their time.
As you may know, I'm seeking detailed, close-up pictures of the 1A cockpit and am not finding any on the net, books, etc. I need to be able to read the labels on the switches, breakers, etc. I have plenty of the 1A instrument panel but need the left and right consoles. It would be really cool if they would allow the seat to be taken out so pictures of the floor, tanks, etc could be taken as well. As you can probably tell I am going for a very detailed cockpit for my plane.
Thanks in advance!
