How to Chose 3 Bladed Props?
«
on:

Anyone have any experience choosing a 3 bladed prop for their 2 or 4 stroke engine?
What are the rules of thumb in choosing size and pitch relative to the recommended 2 bladed props?

Not sure where I saw/read this; decrease diameter by 1", increase pitch by 1.
Seems to work on a ST 90 this way; 2 blade was 14 x 6; 3 blade is 13 x 8 (closest I could get) and I'm taching 10,000 static. Have not flown w/ this set-up yet, but do not expect to have problems caused by this 3 blade choice. Good luck
