HiMaxx had a nice chart they were handing out at E-Fest. They have a similar chart on thier website. It gives some model references, weight, prop, power, etc. It is located: http://www.maxxprod.com/himax-reference.html

E-Flite has a sorta similar chart: http://www.horizonhobby.com/ProdInfo/Files/EFL_Brushless_Motors_Ad.pdf
and an interesting article on how to determine power requirements: http://www.horizonhobby.com/ProdInfo/Files/EFLDeterminingPowerRequirement.pdf

Electrifly has this for glow to electric conversion: http://www.electrifly.com/powersystem/glow-to-brushless.html
and this on specific model conversion: http://www.electrifly.com/powersystem/specific-plane-conversions.html
and a calculator / wizard: http://www.electrifly.com/config/

Unfortunately, Hobby Lobby has not gone to the extent that the others have to give guys the simple tool for AXI and some of the other fine, premium motors they sell.

There are, of course, cheaper setups, but these suggestions typically would guarantee success.

Here's a good glow equivalent conversion set, plus a good article on power:

Hobby lobby does not have one but MS Composit does for AXI
http://www.modelmotors.cz/axisetupmscompositeusa/

And if you buy From MS Composit you get a free radial mount. And we are in Fishers, IN

This guy has done his homework. Pick a category and the list of available items is mind boggling.
