OK Guys, Here is the situation:
I live in Romania, fuel is way to expensive to get. :'(  (It is $35 per 4 liters, and I have to drive to Hungary to find it.)
A generous fellow modeler  (CB) has provided me with his old plans from this plane.  (Yep, I still have them - they are "gold" to me here) LOL
I believe many of you have seen it flying in the Indy area, during several of the "Fun-Fly's".
I need some ideas for power options (motor, speed control)
I guess I am having to stay in the electric arena for this unless someone wants to volunteer to fly over here and bring me fuel occasionally!
I had planned on Saito 1.20 but now it is looking like I'll be switching.

P.s. I will be in America soon (Feb until April) to visit several churches.  I will stop in to say hello on Feb 12th meeting if that is OK with y'all.

Wow, an electric Slow 'n Low.  That sounds VERY interesting.
Maybe I'll consider making my next one electric?

I remembered seeing an electric Telemaster on the Hobby Lobby site.
It's not the HUGE one (12' span), but the smaller one (8' span).

Anyway, the size and weight should be pretty close to the Slow 'n Low.

The motor and speed control won't be cheap, but at least it won't need LiPo batteries!
In fact, the (2) 8-cell NiCd/NiMH packs are needed to get it to balance properly.
