Title: Fueling Process
Post by: All Around Pilot on November 21, 2005, 05:32:12 PM
Me and my dad are putting together a Super Chipmunk and being our first plane with a cowling, we were wonder how we fuel the plane. We are powering the plane with a Saito 56

What a coincidence.  I just helped a guy break in a Saito 56 engine!

You'll want to use a fueling valve, between the carb and fuel tank pickup.

Otherwise, you can use a 3 line tank, with the third line being the fill line.

Hope this helps!

We sometimes screen our calls, since we don't have caller ID.  Go ahead and leave a message and if I'm home I'll pick up if I'm able to get to the phone.

Ok will do. We were up at Hobby R/C and had Barb answer our question. But since this Chipmunk is alot harder then we thought, I know we will have more questions.
