RC Model Aircraft Air Show set for Sept. 1-3
Giant-scale models of some of history’s greatest aircraft will land on the runway behind the Air Force museum on Sept. 1-3.
The 11th Annual Giant Scale Radio-Controlled Model Aircraft Air Show is scheduled during Labor Day weekend and features aircraft from all eras of aviation history. Pilots will entertain audiences as they perform skillful and daring aerobatic maneuvers with RC aircraft.
Sponsored by the Dayton Ohio Giant Scalers, the air show is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
The event is open to the public, and admission and parking are free. Food and merchandise will be available for purchase. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
