Received from Jack Sallade... (this event open to Southside members)

Hi all,
Get the floats out; fire up the amphibians; bring a nice boat or just bring any old RC airplane.  We are having what we hope will be the first of two float fly events at the Wilson place (as usual).  There is a fair size pond as well as a large grass (runway) area available for those who are aquaphobic.  :^))  Thanks to Roy for volunteering this fine facility once again.  We will begin flying around 5:00pm.  We're not organizing any dinner plans for this one so bring your own snacks or eat before or after.  Here are directions to the place:

Directions from the Hancock County Courthouse in  Greenfield on US#40:  Go east 4 miles on US#40 to 600 East (major rural intersections), then south on 600 East 1 mile to 100 South.  Then east on 100 South 1 ¾ miles to 775 East, turn right or south on to blacktop drive & continue driving between the two white barns to the pond.

From Morristown Flying Field:  Turn right or east on US#52 to first road on left (Asbury Rd at the train cars) & continue north past cemetery and over Blue River bridge (about 2 miles from US#52) to stop sign at “T” road of 500 South.  Turn right or east and the road turns into 600 East.  Continue north on 600 East for 4 miles to 100 South, turn right or east & go 1 ¾ miles to 775 East.  Then right or south on to blacktop drive & continue driving between the two white barns to the pond.

If you have any questions please drop me an email and I'll be happy to answer any questions.
