Kind of a light turnout at the indoor yesterday.  Bill and I had the place to ourselves early on, until folks started rolling in.

The highlight of the day was flying Bill's new Blender.  It's a super-lightweight, milled Depron biplane designed for super slow indoor aerobatics.  It flew VERY nicely and is the easiest plane I've ever had the privilege to hover.  I may just have to order me one!  Smiley

The lowlight of the day was when I stepped in an unseen hole in the concrete floor, while returning from retrieving my plane, and rolled my foot.  I was able to hobble around on it for a while, but it got progressively worse, so we returned home - early!  Went to the emergency room to make sure I didn't break anything, which fortunately I did not.  I did do a good job spraining it though, so they wrapped it up, put an air cast on it and sent me home with some good drugs.  Smiley

Hoping to be healed up enough to be able to enjoy the next indoor!

At the last indoor, we were informed that they will continue to have them as long as there is interest.

The next indoor at the Anderson Airport Hangar is Saturday, March 14th - same time.

Yes, there are heaters in the hangar.  Not a bad idea to bring a light jacket though, just in case they have to open the hangar doors.

It's my favorite place to fly indoors in the Indy area.
