First, Let me say welcome to our site and thanks for stopping by.

Sry, no one has really stepped up and given ya an answer here...  Unforunately I'm not really qualified to help you either, but I may be able to point you in the right direction.

I think Duanne Wright has one of these helicopters and he is one of our instructors.  But, we really don't have anything in the way of training for helicopters on our tuesday and thursday training nights.  However, someone may be able to help ya with this,  I suggest speaking with Bob Badger he is in charge of training at the field.

Here is a link to a local group here in indianapolis that focuses on Helicopters.  They also have a forum at their site Circle City RC.

Hope this helps...  and please accept my apology if we seemed uninviting... I assure you that is not the case.

Regards

I'd consider RealFlight G4 or any other RC simulator as some of the best money I've spent on this hobby. Free crashing while learning on the PC. You could probably get RealFlight ver3.5 from someone upgrading to ver4 for cheap.

As luck would have it, there's a Real Flight 3.5 in our Classifieds...

Hi,
I am new to the site...my name is Jon...and I run the Circle City R/C website. I have been flying helis for about 3 years now, and I would be more than willing to help you with your blade. There is a group of guys that focus on helis, but we do not have a dedicated place to fly, so it's kinda hit or miss as to when the group gets together. A good share of them fly near Fishers on Saturday mornings. I can let you know the next time we head out and you could meet us.

I found this site because I am looking for a more "traditional" place to fly. I understand that some r/c fields do not allow helis, so I am hoping that is not the case with R/C South. Secondly, I have purchased a Mini Pulse XT to fly...and I would love some help getting up to speed with planes. Coming from helis I have a handle on forward flight, but the landing part might be a bit more challenging since I can just hove it down!

So hoping to find someone to help me out with the plane and I would be more than willing to help with helis if anyone is interested.

Thanks!
Jon

Hi Jon,

We do allow Heli's...
There are some rules, but mostly common sense...
Come out and visit us sometime...
Our Training Nights are Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer,  You may want to check with Bob Badger (317-888-4169) first if you plan on bringing a heli on those nights since it would be up to him.

Great...I will plan to come down in a few weeks.  I am on vacation all of next week, but the following week I would love to come out and get some help getting my plane up in the air.

Again if any of your members have interest in helis have them contact me...I am more than willing to help.

Looking forward to meeting the group.
