Do you resize the photos to a standard size or do you require the photos to be a certain size?

It will automatically resize.... However, the max. image size you are allowed to upload is set to 800px height or width.  Just remember there is for now a quota of 2mb for everyone, so... adjusting quality will directly affect the number of photos you can upload to the gallery. 

The images will resize to thumbnail (100px x 100px), medium (400px x 400px) and large. (800px x 800px) 

All Around Pilots cessena photo is 36k so for example, he could upload 55 of this size picture.
