Details for the upcoming Electric Fly;


Indianapolis R/C South would like to invite you to our 3rd Annual Electric Fly-In to be held on Saturday, June 2nd starting at 8am and ending at noon.

The event will run from 8am to Noon.
There will be a $5 landing fee, per pilot.
Current AMA is required to fly at our field.

This will be a Ticket Fly. When you register, you will receive 5 tickets.  Thereafter, each time you fly you will receive an additional ticket.  You will be able to select which pilot prizes you want to put your tickets towards. 

ONLY Electric-Powered aircraft will be allowed to fly during this event!

Directions:  Our field is located on the South side of Indianapolis, near I-65 exit 99 (Greenwood).  When you get off the Interstate, continue East to the first 4-way stop (200E) and turn South.  Head South until the road T’s into 750N.  Turn Left on 750N and proceed East less than a mile, (look for the red gate on the left).  Follow the gravel road up to the top of the hill.

Hey fellow fliers
If any club member is a wood burner in their fireplace or fireplace insert, I have a neighbor who has felled a large maple; he doesn't want the wood and it's free. There is a large amount of medium and small stuff that won't require splitting, large stuff is available if spitting doesn't bother you, but it all will require drying for next winter. He has told folks in his circle of friends, so if there is interest, "the early bird gets the worm". Call me at my home # (887-6787) for directions. He doesn't have to be at home when the wood is picked up as long as the pile stays neat.
