As of Thursday, October 28th, the Indianapolis RC South flying field off of Worthsville Road is closed in preparation for development of the Grand Vista subdivision.
This flying field was established way back in 1975, so a lot of fond memories were made during those 46 years!
As we continue searching for a new location, members are encouraged to fly at the Johnson Co RC Flyers field near Camp Atterbury –
https://jcrcf.com/, or at the Indianapolis RC Modelers field near Morristown, IN – http://indyrcmodelers.com/.
Attention Indy RC South club members…
At the Oct 11 club meeting, the members present voted to reduce the dues by half for next year. The reduced rates (below) will remain in effect until we locate a new flying field.
$ 40.00 Regular member
$ 20.00 Junior member (<20)
$ 60.00 Family Membership
*** Note: After we locate a new flying field dues will return to the 2021 rates. (double those listed above)
Please mail a check for your dues to:
Doug Gifford, 3654 Bellmore Dr., Brownsburg, IN 46112
We’ve decided to kick the field search up a notch. If you know a good place to display this flyer, please click on the image below to download the .pdf and print one out and post it for us. Thanks!
